WORLD RANKINGS
The Durban University of Technology shows up favourably as one of the top ve universities in South Africa and is ranked in the top 500 universities of the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021. Due to DUT’s ever increasing levels of performance and research outputs, according to the World University Rankings, the Institution ranks 10th in the world on citations, raising DUT signi cantly up the ladder to greater academic heights.
UNIVERSITY ACCOLADES 2021
• DUT was awarded the 2021 Global Award for Innovation and Excellence in Internationalisation by the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA).
• DUT obtained the 2021 Global Award for Innovation and Excellence in internationalisation by the Association of Internationalisation Education Administrators (AIEA) based in the United States.
• DUT launched its rst accredited journal – African Journal of Inter/Multidisciplinary Studies.
• DUT launched its Social Innovation Lab, which aims to strengthen DUT/industry partnerships during this year, 2021 and beyond.
