DUT’s campus radio: RadioDUT, is currently in search for hot, new talent to join its line-up of radio presenters.

To date, 80 percent of the radio station’s presenters have in the last two years moved onto presenting at major local commercial radio stations such as East Coast Radio, Gagasi, Kwezi and Inanda FM.

The search is part of the radio station’s RadioDUT Presenter Search. “Our mission is to provide quality information and entertainment that speaks directly to the needs of the KZN student community,” said Zinhle Mtolo, PR and Media Relations Officer at the radio station. “Our signature for 2016 is ‘GraduateYourCraft’. We’re looking for talented individuals to join our young, multitalented and ambitious team. RadioDUT’s main objective is to provide a platform that teaches individuals everything they need to know about the media industry by equipping them with skills that make them highly compatible for employment at prominent media houses,” she said.

So, if you have identified your craft and possess a unique personality, great voice, fluency in English, IsiZulu/ IsiXhosa, writing skills, confidence and creativity then the “Graduate Your Craft” campaign is for you.
