“DUT is a very interesting place, for me it’s filled with much colour and theoretics. You have arrived during what I call a ‘season of change’ and you are wondering who must you listen and who can you trust. Please take your time to read the action statements that are on the Leaving Values framework, because then you will look at those statements and say how do those action statements resonate with me and how do they resonate with my behaviour.
The session proceeded with Interim Deputy Vice Chancellor: Teaching and Learning, Dr Azwitevhelwi Nevhutalu who urged the newly appointed employees to live by ENVISION2030 Living Values and Principles.
“If you take all the Living Values and Principles together, you will understand that this is all DUT is about. At DUT, we promote Transparency, Honesty, Integrity, Respect and Accountable. These are all aspirational, but we must try every day and live them,” he said.
