To Marethabile Hoeane-Makote age is just a number and proves that it is never too late to chase one’s dream.

If I could return to school at this stage in my life and achieve superior results, imagine what you can do at your age. Trust the process,’’ she said.

She expressed how excited she was for her academic success especially attaining it at her age. She shared that it was satisfying and encouraging.

“I was incredibly happy about this achievement, even though I had returned to my studies at an older age after completing my undergraduate studies. I always knew I could do better, and the support I had received from both my family and the school encouraged me to do my best,’’ she added.

She also spoke on her DUT journey, mentioning that it was filled with love, support, and selfless sacrifices. She also said that she never felt like a foreigner.
